Contribute:
All contributions in the name of the museum go towards its operating expenses. If you would like to mail a check, or deliver one in person, the mailing address and clear direction are under the "Contact Us" menu item.
Parts:
It might not be so obvious, but in many cases parts contributions are more helpful than just monetary contributions. Often times those parts changing hands are out of production and having them come to us can save a lot of time searching. Even the parts we aren't in need of at that time can be saved and put up on the web site for sale, to either find a buyer or plane to use that part in.
The most effective method of contributing equipment to either email or call Reg. For large parts, we can provided transportation.
Nonprofit:
The San Diego Flight Museum is registered as a 501-3(c) non-profit corporation. Those who volunteer their time, money or relevant equipment towards operating the San Diego Flight Museum can not only participate in experiencing, learning about and contributing to some of the finest engineering of this century but can also receive many tax benefits according to their contribution. Both Monetary and Parts contribution value can be at least partially recouped in tax returns. It must be noted, however, that because of the complexity of taxes you should consult an attorney for the correct procedure.
